A Healthy Planet Magic Show
This action packed 45 minute magical program is filled with audience participation, magical effects, music, and plenty of simple ways that we can start making this world a better place"right now"! Ted Ant invites audience members onstage throughout the program to "DREAM BIG" and emphasize the four R's, Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, and Restore. Each section of the show teaches us how to think about ways that we can keep the planet healthy, by keeping our air and water clean, conserving and reducing energy, and restoring the planet by planting trees. Audience members have an opportunity to contribute their own ideas to this show and reuse on the spot, as Ted Ant reminds everyone that we live in "A Wonderful World". Let's make our dreams come true and keep it that way! Show includes a colorful backdrop, theatrical props, sound system, and music. This show is perfect for ages 4 to 12 years of age. An 8' x 5' space is required for the show.
"The King's Dinner"
A Nighttime puppet show
It's nighttime at the palace, and the King is ready to enjoy his royal dinner. A super-fun interactive puppet show with Beanpole and Jampot the official cooks for the King. This story finds our cooks in a bit of trouble, as the lemon tarts that the King requested for his dinner, keep coming up missing. They enlist the help of a visiting chef named Lancelot, who happens to be a Lion. He helps the cooks to come up with a plan to catch the sticky handed bandit, the Knave of Hearts. All is well as this story has a surprise ending that leaves everyone happy. This is a 45 minute show with large colorful puppets and props, puppet theater, lights, music, and more! This show is perfect for ages 4 to 12 years of age. The space required for this show is 7' x 7'.

"Own the Night: Learn to Draw Like Leonardo!"
Artist / Illustrator Eugene Clark leads this exciting 50 minute, hands-on anatomical drawing session. Participants will learn to draw the human skull along with the features of the face, to create their own realistic portrait drawing using the same principals as Leonardo Da Vinci. This program is suitable for all levels, beginning to advanced. Eugene will create a step-by-step demonstration drawing, and participants will draw along. Art, science, and math all come together during this unique experience. Anyone interested in art, drawing, animation, Manga comics, Anime, or art history, will find this program beneficial and rewarding! Let your creativity run wild during this artistic event at the library! Eugene Clark is a Professor of Illustration at the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI. He is an award winning artist & illustrator. He received the "Artist of the Year Award" from the Wayne County Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs. This program is suitable for ages 13 to 18 years of age. The space required for this presentation is 15' x 15', with tables and chairs for participants.
"BETWEEN THE COVERS: Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso!"
This 60 minute art history slide lecture conducted by Artist / Professor, Eugene Clark, provides a walking tour of Amsterdam and Paris, and chronicles Clark's visit to both places, highlighting the artwork of well-known artists including Vincent Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Picasso, among others. This is a very insightful and informative lecture for artists and non-artists alike. This program helps to provide some interesting comparisons between the artists presented, leaving participants with a deeper appreciation for both the artist and their work. Colorful photographs will be shown during this fascinating program. Eugene Clark is a Professor of Illustration at the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI. His work is published by Harper Prism. He recently received the "Artist of the Year Award" from the Wayne County Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs. This program is suitable for ages 18 years to Adult. Space requirements include a small room if available. ( Space requirements are flexible for this program.)
